Physical Handling of Devices:

Maintaining machines in good working order.

Facilitating hardware repairs where necessary.  (Shipping/Receiving of equipment, managing repair vendors).

Keeping stores in working order – Access control and Security checks.

Receiving of new stock into stores – formatting – reimaging – preparation of machines.

Scrapping: Raising of POs – facilitation with scrap vendor.

Handover to stand-in when needed.

Accountability for the machines in the stores. Assist with Asset Tracking where needed.  Interlocking with Business Controls, Security and Finance Teams where needed.

Assist in special projects where needed.

Virtual Handling of Devices:

Use of Global Inventory tracker (GIT)  and ServiceNow Asset Management tools – must match stores inventory.  Timeous updates.

e-AMT – not responsibility of Physical Hands, however interaction with DRT and GFA teams will be needed.

Issuing of machines ONLY through valid Request ID via GIT/ServiceNow. 

Receiving of machines into GIT when machine is returned to stores.

Issuing of machines from GIT when a machine is handed over to the employee.

Daily check of Requisitions page in GIT with adherence to SLAs for setup – handover of machines to the employees.

Maintain Metrics for Issuing/Receiving/Repairing/Scrapping of machines.

Customer Interaction:

Directing customers to Devices page.

Courteous and Respectful interactions with customers and colleagues.

Handing over of assets to both New and Existing employees.

Business Controls Compliance:

 100% accuracy of GIT to Stores to e-AMT wherever possible.

Timeous and truthful responses to W2W and RIC requests that come from Business Controls Team.

Deadlines for W2W to be met, if extension is needed – this needs to be discussed prior to original deadline day.

Interlock Meetings with the following Teams will be required:

 

Physical Hands Teams (including DCS team)

DRT team in Mexico

GFA team in China

Ops Team in Slovakia

Devices team worldwide

Local Business Controls

And PIT/W2W meetings that might be needed

CIO

 

Soft skills:

Time Management, Networking, Teamwork, Agile principles and Conflict resolution.

Software Skills:

Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Trello, Mural, GIT and ServiceNow.
